We are seeking a Café Assistant to contribute to our hospitable, warm, and caring environment at Bupa Parkstone Retirement Village on a casual basis. 
 Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Making coffee – barista experience required.
• Serving café cabinet food.
• Ensuring café is appropriately stocked to provide smooth service to customers.
• Clearing and cleaning tables along with dishes to keep café dining area clean and tidy.
• Ensuring exceptional food hygiene and overall cleanliness and tidiness of the café.
• Delivering a high standard of customer service.
• Assisting with ordering of stocks.

What about you 

• Ideally, you will have at least one year’s work experience in a similar role.
• You will be a team player, with the ability to work independently, and who is prepared to roll up your sleeves and get stuck into to whatever needs to get done.
• Demonstrate empathy, enthusiasm, and have a genuine passion for making a difference to residents. 
• Reliable transport or travel arrangements. 
• Applicants must be legally entitled to work in NZ.
