Where you will make an impact
- Support the development strategy by identifying opportunities to grow and optimise our development pipeline across New Zealand for the next 5 – 15 years.
- Lead the financial modelling and commercial analysis of business cases, ensuring robust investment decisions across our aged care and retirement living portfolios.
- Work closely with operational and property leaders to ensure assumptions and sensitivities are robustly understood and actionable.
- Analyse and recommend optimal investment strategies for our existing portfolio to ensure we continue to meet and exceed future customer expectations.
- Influence senior leaders by presenting clear, actionable commercial advice to support strategic choices which exceed customer expectations.

About You
- Bachelor’s (ideally Master’s) degree in Finance, Economics or business or CFA.
- A minimum 8+ years’ experience business case development or insights generation, preferably within a large, complex organisation.
- Strong proficiency with data modelling and visualisation tools such as PowerBI, and advanced Excel.
- Strong experience of financial modelling and scenario analysis techniques.
- Natural collaborator, relationship builder, thought leader with an ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Problem solver, showing grit and ingenuity.
Experience in the following areas advantageous:
- Power BI skills to deliver dynamic reporting and actionable insights would be highly regarded.
- Familiarity with month-end analysis and management reporting is advantageous, as is experience leading budgets and multi-year forecasts, would further support success in the role.
- Strategic advisor to site managers to guide and influence both financial and operational goals.
