That’s why we are seeking a Physiotherapy Assistant like you to join our Bupa Parkstone Care Home located in Ilam to enrich the lives of our residents and be part of an inclusive culture where you can make a difference while growing your career. This is a Permanent, Part-time position working 9AM to 3PM on Monday/Wednesday/Friday.
About the Role
Under the guidance of the Physiotherapist, you will provide physiotherapy services following the individual resident’s care plan and treatment programme. You will also work with the Physiotherapist in developing individual programs to meet the resident’s needs.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Comply with the Physiotherapy assistant scope of practice
- Ensure care is provided following the resident care plan and physiotherapy treatment programme.
- Contribute to the achievement of resident focussed goals.
- Ensure resident safety, privacy and comfort is always maintained
- Adhere to policies and procedures and comply with all relevant standards and legislation
Skills and Experience
- You will have 1 year of previous experience as a Physiotherapy Assistant in aged care
- Demonstrate a positive attitude to wellness and healthy lifestyle and is physically fit
- Display enthusiasm, empathy, and a passion for making a positive impact on the lives of residents
- Demonstrate outstanding communication skills
- Be able to commit to working on a rotating roster and have reliable travel arrangements.
