Clinical Manager – Glenburn Care Home (New Lynn, Auckland)

Are you a passionate and experienced Clinical Manager looking to make a real impact in aged care? Glenburn Bupa Care Home in New Lynn is seeking a dedicated Clinical Manager with a proven track record in clinical leadership, audits, and process improvement.

As our Clinical Manager, you’ll step into a strong, well-established clinical team where your ability to coach, mentor, and develop experienced nurses will be key. We are looking for someone who can drive continuous improvement while ensuring the highest standards of care for our residents.

Your expertise in aged care audits and compliance will be crucial in maintaining and enhancing our standards. You’ll play a key role in strengthening clinical processes to ensure ongoing excellence in future audits.

This is a permanent, full-time role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, located in New Lynn, West Auckland. Glenburn Care Home is a lovely, cosy environment where everyone is made to feel at home – including you. Key Responsibilities

  • Proven leadership experience as a Clinical Manager in aged care 
  • Strong background in coaching, mentoring, and developing clinical teams.
  • Experience in audit preparation, compliance, and process improvement.
  • Conduct medication rounds, manage care plans, in-service education sessions, and maintain accurate paperwork.
  • Build trusting relationships with residents’ families.
  • Stand up and tell us where we can invest more to ensure continuous quality improvement.

  • Hold a current APC and NZ Nursing Council Registration.
  • Passion for leading a team to mentor and support others.
  • Excellent clinical skills in adult care and ideal aged care experience.
  • Confident communication, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to manage, develop, mentor, and build a strong cohesive team 
  • Internal audit management and leading continuous quality improvements.
