As part of our exciting programme of transformational projects, we have a newly created role for a Solutions Architect on a fixed term contract. Joining a recently stood up team, you will act as the Azure Cloud solution specialist, guiding and leading the team in the technical development of a bespoke cloud-based app.
Where you will make an impact
- Design all integration works and cloud set up, getting into the detail and guiding engineers.
- Develop the solution architecture deliverables and guide high level detailed design undertaken by Solution Design / Application Architecture resources and other SMEs
- Review and create other project deliverables such as detailed design, interface specifications, test strategy and similar.
- Identify solution options and drive a collaborative process to engage stakeholders.
About you
- Extensive experience of leading, designing and implementing cloud solutions with a core focus in Microsoft Azure technologies, efficiency, and security.
- Experience working within matrix structures, with demonstrated ability to broker outcomes effectively with a pragmatic and down to earth style.
- Ambiguity doesn’t faze you - you tackle challenges head-on, and thrive in identifying and implementing new ways of working.
- Experience with one or more Architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF).
- Commercial acumen in the context of business growth, with an understanding of technology strategies relative to commercial risk and reward.
- Knowledge / certification of delivery methodologies (e.g. Waterfall, Agile).
