2Permanent full time positions in the Psychogeriatric Ward, working an average of 32 hours per week.

• Days of work- Monday – Sunday working on a 4 on and 2 off roster pattern.
• Hours of work: Evening shift - 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm and Night Shift - 11pm to 7am.
• Total of 192 hours in a 6 week roster cycle.

3 Permanent part time positions in the Dementia Ward

1. Permanent part time role working an average of 30 hours per week.

• Days of work- Monday – Sunday working on a 4 on and 2 off roster pattern.
• Hours of work: 3pm to 11pm.
• Total of 180 hours over a 6 week roster cycle.

2. Permanent part time role working an average of 11.66 hours per week.

• Days of work- Monday – Sunday working on a 4 on and 2 off roster pattern.
• Hours of work: 7am to 12:30pm.
• Total of 70 hours over a 6 week roster cycle.

3. Permanent part time role working an average of 9.33 hours per week.

• Days of work- Monday – Sunday working on a 4 on and 2 off roster pattern.
• Hours of work: 7am to 12:30pm.
• Total of 56 hours over a 6 week roster cycle.

Casual position

• Days of work- Monday – Sunday working on a 4 on and 2 off roster pattern.
• No guaranteed weekly hours, work as and when available.

As a Caregiver at Bupa, you will work under the guidance and supervision of qualified nursing staff and management, to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents. You will be encouraged to develop deeper relationships with residents and their families, delivering the highest quality person first care to residents in line with their individual care plan.  

Where You Will Make an Impact  

• Provide personal care assistance with daily living, whilst treating residents with respect and dignity.
• Mobility assistance in accordance with resident care plans.
• Maintain accurate health care documentation as required.
• Encourage all residents to participate in scheduled social activities.
• Contribute to the development of a positive, safe, home environment for residents, visitors, and the wider team.

What About You

• An NZQA Health and Wellbeing Certificate Level 2-4 is preferred.
• Ideally you will have a minimum of 1 year of experience within aged care.
• Demonstrate genuine enthusiasm, dedication to care, and passion for enriching the lives of the elderly.
• Confident communication, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities.
• Applicants must be legally entitled to work in NZ.
