That is why we are after a Nurse Practitioner to work one day per week at our two Thames-based care homes (6 hours per week) as an independent contractor. You’ll be part of an inclusive culture where you can make a difference while growing your career. 

About the Role:

• Opportunity to make a difference in our residents’ lives by providing clinical leadership and nurse consultancy for Bupa.
• You will identify opportunities to improve clinical care and provide support with care planning involving complex health issues.
• You will be an expert resource for clinical staff, while supporting with education and workshops to promote professional development of our nurses.

This role is one day per week to suit your schedule, working at both of our Thames Care Homes – Tararu Care Home and The Booms Care Home. This is role is suitable for an independent contractor. 

What About You:

• Current registration with the NZ Nursing Council in the Nurse Practitioner Scope of Practice.
• Passion for and experience in palliative/gerontology nursing.
• Advanced clinical skills, including comprehensive assessment skills.
• Proven ability to mentor, lead, and educate across diverse teams.
• A commitment to collaboration, cultural safety, and person-centred care.
