Registered Nurse – Permanent Full Time | 32 Hours per Week | 4 on / 2 off Roster
At Bupa Mary Shapley Care Home in Whakatāne, you’ll join a close-knit clinical team in our 78-bed Rest Home and Hospital where relationships, trust, and continuity of care come first.
This permanent role offers 32 hours per week across all shifts, giving you stability without burnout and regular time to recharge.
You’ll work alongside experienced caregivers and clinical leaders, providing hands-on nursing care, supporting resident wellbeing, and being a trusted clinical presence on shift. Hours & Roster Details:
- Employment Type: Permanent Fulltime
- Hours: Average 32 Hours Per Week
- Shift Time: Morning, Afternoon and Nights
- Roster Pattern: 4 shifts on, 2 shifts off (6-weekly roster across Monday - Sunday)
Where You’ll Make an Impact:
- Provide person-centred clinical care for residents in care homes across various levels of care.
- Lead a team of caregivers to provide the highest quality clinical care.
- Conduct medication rounds, manage care plans, and maintain accurate paperwork.
- Stand up and tell us where we can invest more to ensure continuous quality improvement.
Your Person-First Approach:
You’ll help us make a real difference through your RN experience, personal passion, and empathy.
- Hold a current APC and NZ Nursing Council Registration.
- Excellent clinical skills in adult care and ideal aged care experience.
- Confident communication, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities.
- A compassionate nurse who strives for excellence and to make an impact in residents’ lives.
- Applicants must be legally entitled to work in NZ.
