Fixed Term RN Role in Whangārei

Are you a compassionate Registered Nurse looking for meaningful work in a supportive team? We have a 6-month fixed term opportunity (with potential to extend) at our Bupa Totara Care Home in Whangarei, ideal for someone ready to grow their clinical experience or settle into a caring community.

You'll work an average of 32 hours per week (192 hours over a 6-week cycle) across a rotating roster of Morning, Afternoon and Night shifts. This role suits a nurse who values variety, teamwork, and the chance to truly connect with residents.

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Provide person-centred clinical care for residents in care homes across various levels of care.
  • Lead a team of caregivers to provide the highest quality clinical care.
  • Conduct medication rounds, manage care plans, and maintain accurate paperwork.
  • Stand up and tell us where we can invest more to ensure continuous quality improvement.

Skills and Qualifications

You’ll help us make a real difference through your RN experience, personal passion, and empathy.

  • Hold a current APC and NZ Nursing Council Registration.
  • Excellent clinical skills in adult care and ideal aged care experience.
  • Confident communication, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities.
  • A compassionate nurse who strives for excellence and to make an impact in residents’ lives.
