Bupa Hugh Green Care Home in Albany is a modern care home set amongst sunny gardens at 105 Apollo Drive. A standout feature is the purpose-built dementia garden, creating a safe, engaging outdoor environment that supports residents living with dementia to maintain independence, connection, and wellbeing. Combined with our rest home, hospital, and dementia care services, you'll have the opportunity to use your clinical expertise across a diverse resident population while building meaningful long-term relationships.
Working a structured 4 shifts on, 4 shifts off roster, you'll take ownership of resident care, provide clinical leadership during shifts, and contribute to safe, high-quality outcomes for residents and their whānau. This is a role for a nurse who is confident in their practice and enjoys being trusted to make decisions that positively impact people's lives.
Hours & Roster Details:
- Employment Type: Permanent Part-Time
- Hours: Average 28 Hours Per Week
- Shift Time: 3 Mornings and 1 Afternoon Shift.
- Roster Pattern: 4 shifts on, 4 shifts off (6-weekly roster across Monday - Sunday)
Your Person-First Approach:

- Hold a current APC and NZ Nursing Council Registration.
- Excellent clinical skills in adult care and ideal aged care experience.
- Confident communication, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities.
- A compassionate nurse who strives for excellence and to make an impact in residents’ lives.
- Applicants must be legally entitled to work in NZ.
