Hours:
- Employment Type: Permanent Full Time
- Hours: 40 Hours per Week
- Shift Time: Monday to Friday with occasional evenings and weekends for village events and open days.
The purpose of this job
If you're a relationship-driven professional who enjoys sales, community engagement, and helping people make important life decisions, this could be the opportunity you've been looking for.
This role will suit someone who thrives on building genuine connections and guiding prospective residents through their retirement village journey. You'll be the face of the village, managing enquiries, coordinating viewings, supporting village marketing activities, and helping maintain strong occupancy levels. Rather than high-pressure sales, success comes from building trust, understanding individual needs, and showcasing the lifestyle and community that make Ashford such a desirable place to live.
- Support residents’ wellbeing and help them enjoy a positive village experience.
- Manage the village’s daily administration, operations and resident requests.
- Manage sales enquiries and support new residents through a smooth move-in and induction.
- Work with the General Manager to meet sales, occupancy and financial targets.
- Coordinate activities, events, transport, maintenance and village presentation to meet residents’ needs.
What you’ll need to make it possible
- You have helped meet sales, occupancy or revenue targets while giving customers a positive experience.
- You can build strong relationships with residents, families, prospective residents and local contacts.
- You can manage sales enquiries, village tours, resident requests, events and administration on time.
- You are confident using digital systems to track enquiries, follow-ups, customer records and sales results.
- You can understand each customer’s needs, explain village options clearly and support a smooth move-in.
