The purpose of this job
Bupa Ballarat Care Home is located on the western edge of Rangiora, just north of Christchurch. It provides rest home, hospital, and dementia care within a modern, purpose-built environment
As a Caregiver, you’ll work alongside a supportive team to:
- Assist with mobility in line with individual care plans
- Maintain accurate and timely care documentation
- Encourage residents to engage in social activities and community life
- Help create a warm, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and your teammates
What you’ll need to make it possible
- Hold a Level 0-4 Caregiving qualification, with current medication competency and a strong understanding of safe medication practices
- Bring proven experience in aged care or a comparable healthcare environment
- Exhibit genuine passion for supporting the elderly
- Possess confident communication and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Computer literacy across MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Hold legal entitlement to work in New Zealand
