Hours & Roster Details:
- Employment Type: Permanent Part-Time
- Hours: Average 17.5 hours/week/105 hours/6 weeks roster period
- Days of work: Sunday to Wednesday (Thursday, Friday, Saturday- Off days)
- Shift Time: Sunday- 10am to 2pm, Monday to Wednesday- 9am – 2pm
The purpose of this job
Located in Thames, Bupa Tararu Care Home enjoys a stunning coastal setting with beautiful views across the Firth of Thames. Care options include Rest Home Care, Hospital Care, and Care Suites. As the Administration Support you will:
- Provide administrative and secretarial support to the care home
- Manage reception and welcome residents, visitors, and staff
- Maintain accurate filing and database records
- Process day-to-day operational documentation
- Prepare reports and ensure deadlines are met
- Collate, code, and process accounts payable invoices
What you’ll need to make it possible
- At least 1 years’ experience in administration, reception, or customer service, ideally within aged care.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a genuine respect for older people.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
- Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Compassionate, empathetic, and passionate about supporting the elderly.
- Applicants must have the legal right to work in New Zealand
