Registered Nurse – Fixed Term Part-Time | 24 Hours per Week | Rotating 4-on-2-off Roster

This role suits a Registered Nurse who is confident across mornings, afternoons, and night shifts, and values the rhythm of a structured 4-on-2-off roster. You’ll bring strong clinical judgement, the ability to work independently, and a calm, adaptable approach in a fast-moving care environment. Your communication skills will help you build genuine connections with residents, families, and your team, while your attention to detail ensures safe, high-quality care is delivered every shift. Most importantly, you’ll have a natural sense of empathy and pride in creating a positive, supportive experience for those in your care.
Hours & Roster Details:
- Employment Type: Fixed Term Part-Time until 5th July 2026 (3 months)
- Hours: Average 24 hours per week
- Shift Time: Mornings, Afternoons and Nights
- Roster Pattern: 4 shifts on, 2 shifts off (6-weekly roster across Monday - Sunday)
Where You’ll Make an Impact:
- Provide person-centred clinical care for residents in this care home offering 78-bed rest home & hospital levels of care.
- Lead a team of caregivers to provide the highest quality clinical care.
- Conduct medication rounds, manage care plans, and maintain accurate paperwork.
- Stand up and tell us where we can invest more to ensure continuous quality improvement.
Your Person-First Approach:
You’ll help us make a real difference through your RN experience, personal passion, and empathy.
- Hold a current APC and NZ Nursing Council Registration.
- Excellent clinical skills in adult care and ideal aged care experience.
- Confident communication, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities.
- A compassionate nurse who strives for excellence and to make an impact in residents’ lives.
- Applicants must be legally entitled to work in NZ.
