At Bupa Parkstone Care Home in Ilam, Christchurch, we’re looking for a Level 7 Senior Registered Nurse to step into a permanent full-time position working 32 hours per week on a 4 on, 2 off roster. With fixed day shifts from 6:45am to 3:13pm, this role offers something many senior nurses are actively seeking right now: predictable hours, strong routine, and genuine balance outside of work.
This is a senior clinical position where your experience will be fully utilised on shift. You will lead by example, support and mentor other nurses and care staff, and ensure residents receive consistently high-quality, person-centred care. It’s a role suited to someone who enjoys being the most clinically confident person in the room, stepping in where needed, and keeping care running smoothly without unnecessary complexity.
We’re ideally looking for a Registered Nurse who brings strong aged care experience, sound clinical judgement, and the confidence to support others through day-to-day decision making. You’ll need to be someone who communicates clearly, stays calm under pressure, and naturally builds trust with residents, families, and colleagues. Experience in senior or lead RN roles will be highly valued, particularly where you’ve been responsible for guiding others, managing priorities across a shift, and maintaining high standards in a structured environment.
Success in this role comes from more than clinical competence. It requires someone who genuinely values routine and can work effectively within a predictable roster, someone who enjoys continuity of care and building long-term relationships with residents, and someone who takes pride in being dependable and organised in their approach to every shift.

- Roster Pattern: 4 On 2 Off Roster (6 Week Roster across Monday to Sunday)
